The SSA to the Bayelsa State Governor on RESEARCH & SOCIAL MEDIA, Idumange John today visited the Mainstreet Bank Yenagoa to solicit the Bank's support to finance Small and Micro Enterprises in the State. During the working visit, the SSA met with the Branch Manager -Mr. Ginah Otonye and the Head of Operations Mr. Binaebi Timi at the head office at Ekeki, Yenagoa. The Branch Manager promised active partnership with the Governor HSD administration, adding that with the investment-friendly atmosphere being created by the present administration, there were oval possibilities that MAINSTREET Bank will do business with the BAYELSA STATE GOVERNMENT. He underscored the fact that Mainstreet Bank has a strong corporate culture and investor-friendly policies to encourage pro-poor policies and programmes.
From the foregoing, there is a possibility of partnership between the financial institution and the Bayelsa State in the areas of Agriculture, Housing and SMEs. When the relationship comes on stream, the benefits of the partnership would be mutually reinforcing.
